Local Food Businesses support Dementia Friendly Cookery Group |
The Community Kitchen has been feeling the festive spirit from the Brighton & Hove community, with local businesses helping them raise money for their Dementia Friendly Cookery Group Time for Tea. Including 2 sold out events, starting with a supper club with the newly launched Excuse Fingers team and a cheese & wine celebration with cheese writer Patrick McGuigan and wine guru Helen Chesshire. Additionally, Chef Kanthi of the Spice Circuit Kitchen donated £1 for every veggie dish sold during October & November. Thanks to this support they have now raised enough to extend the project to March 2026. To help them continue this life changing work beyond this date head to the groups Just Giving page. |
