Love Food Share Food Winter Campaign: Fighting Food Poverty in Brighton & Hove |
Restaurants Brighton is proud to support the Love Food Share Food winter campaign, uniting local restaurants to tackle food insecurity across Brighton & Hove. As the cost of living continues to rise, the campaign invites venues to add an optional £1 donation to diners’ bills via branded table cards, with all proceeds supporting Brighton Food Bank and CHOMP (One Church Brighton). These charities provide emergency food, hot meals, and community support to local families. Following a successful summer campaign that raised £16,000, this winter’s initiative aims to make an even greater impact. |

If you’re doing great things in sustainability, say so. Many venues quietly put in the work but never talk about it — a trend known as green-hushing. As Robb Cunningham from the Green Business Team says in our new video, small businesses have real influence. Sharing your actions, cutting carbon, sourcing locally, reducing waste, protecting nature - builds trust, inspires others and strengthens your reputation as a visibly sustainable venue. |
